Essential Plan (EP) 200-250

We are pleased to announce a significant expansion to our coverage options with the introduction of Essential Plan 200 – 250. This plan extension is specifically designed for people earning between 200% and 250% of the Federal Poverty Level (FPL), which translates to an income of up to $37,650 in 2024. This initiative aims to make healthcare more accessible and affordable for nearly 90,000 New Yorkers.

**New Pregnancy, maternity, and newborn care are now covered under the Essential Plan expansion!

Comprehensive Benefits:

  • Affordable Out-Of-Pocket Costs - Co-pays are minimal (eg., $15 for a primary care visit and $25 for specialist visits) with a maximum annual out-of-pocket limit of $2,000.

  • No Premiums or Deductibles - Makes healthcare more accessible without the financial burden of monthly premiums or initial deductibles.

  • Free Preventive Care and Dental/Vision Care - Comprehensive care extends to preventive services and includes dental and vision care at no extra cost.

  • Continuous Open Enrollment - Members can enroll at any time of the year, allowing for immediate coverage adjustments based on personal health needs.
