We're excited to introduce a new addition to our health benefits lineup - the $75 Over-The-Counter (OTC) Card by UnitedHealthcare Health & Wealth Benefits.
What is it?
Every three months, (January-March, April-June, July-September, October-December), your card will be automatically re-loaded with $75. This adds up to $300 every year! However, just as it is distributed quarterly, it also expires at the end of each quarter. Any remaining funds at the end of a period (March 31st, July 31st, September 30th, December 31st) do not carry over to the next, so remember to make the most of it!
What Does it Cover?
Mainly healthy foods and over-the-counter drugs at large retailers like Walmart, Walgreens, Kroger, and CVS, or at local stores near you. If the store has an “OTC” sticker at check-out, you can use the card! You can shop in-store or online for pain relievers, cold remedies, vitamins, toothpaste, and more. How Does it Work?
When shopping in-store, just scan the barcode on the back of your U-Card – no forms to fill out or receipts to submit. Online, the U-Card can be used like a regular debit card – simply input the numbers on the back.
Mobile App
The Healthy Benefits Plus App, available in English, Spanish, and Chinese, lets you check your card balance and find partnering shops (groceries or drug stores, independent retailers, etc.) nearby. Click here to download!
